The Celebration of Writing

The Celebration of Writing at the Student Center was very nice. My group and I did a presentation of web-cams. After a few problems and set backs, everything worked out perfectly. Toyia and Vera worked the display table, while I was in the lobby displaying the use of the web-cam and talking to people inside the ballroom. I had a lot fun and even made a few more friends from my class.

Writing a Research Paper

Of course, an usual writing assignment for an english class would be a research paper. For my class, I have to write a paper regarding the topic and research process of my wikipedia paper. It's funny when you think you have every you need and know all what to do while the teacher is in your reach. However as soon as the class is done and your at home starting your paper, you come to a blank of where to start. You question of where to start replays over and over again until you sit and/or procrastinate. Unfortunately, I had this problem last night but I recovered by going through my notes and asking questions about my topic. Soon, I was able to get on my paper and write what was needed. So whenever I get lost or need help, I can always count on my notes.

Why are there so much papers to do in college?? I have at least three papers a week, mostly for English class but still, wow. Also it's funny what the papers are about. One assignment I had was to discuss the structure of a famous letter. Basically writing a paper describing the structure and content of another paper. I questioned why but I did it anyway. {I got an A on it! =)} Even with good grades, I still haven't did so many papers in a single month like this. Unfortunately, I know this is just the beginning. Yet, even with all the papers coming my way, I will be prepared.
